The Scotsman Hotel
The Scotsman Hotel has been converted from the Scotsman Newspaper’s
baronial offices into one of the most stylish hotels in the Edinburgh
city. The hotel brings together the efficiency of the 21st century
with careful innovative design but most of all comfort has been in
mind throughout. Unique elements of design are evident throughout
the building, helping to establish a calm air of well-being in exclusive
surroundings.

Accommodation
 All 56 bedrooms and 12 suites are different in shape, interior design
and size. Genuine Scottish Estate tweeds have been used as part of
the interior design. Each room has been designed for comfort and convenience,
from discreet privacy service hatches to luxury bathrooms and state
of the art entertainment systems (DVD/CD players, wide screen TV,
computer with Internet Access etc).

Facilities
 The Scotsman Hotel has two dining rooms. Vermillion, a classic rich
red decorated room, it encapsulates all that is unique to the Scotsman
with finest Scottish produce and classic dishes. North Bridge Dining
is a definitive brasserie offering a fun atmosphere, sumptuous food
and tremendous value. The Scotsman hotel also has a health club with
a stunning 16 metre stainless steel pool with slate surround and a
spa area to refresh body, mind and spirit.

Location
Located on Edinburgh’s historical North Bridge, The Scotsman
Hotel is ideally located in the Old Town but a stones throw to New
Town and Princes Street. You come out of the hotel and around the corner is the
historic Royal Mile which joins Edinburgh Castle to Hollyrood Castle.
If you take a left as you come of the hotel, in just 2 minutes
you are on Princes Street, Edinburgh’ main shopping street.
